heyyy I have opened my new GMail account !!!! woooohoooo
For all those who are interested in opening the new 1GB Gmail account from google - If you have a blogger account then login into your account and you will be able to see a ad- banner for opening Gmail account after you have logged in in the initial screen above your blog link. I understand that this is only for active blogger users only. You can give a try.

I can't see any link in Google GMail page for opening account.
